木造ビルの1階を改装した大きな窓のカフェ。
二重の窓によって外部環境に応じた調整ができるほか、大きくとった風除室ではカフェの営業と並行して展示や別営業ができる。環境負荷のすくない飲食を提供するカフェのコンセプトに共感し、国産の間伐材を利用したフローリングなど自然素材を多く採用して空間をつくった。
A cafe renovation on the ground floor of a wooden building featuring expansive windows.
The double-window system allows for environmental adjustments based on external conditions, while the large vestibule serves as a versatile buffer zone for exhibitions or pop-up events alongside the cafe’s daily operations. Reflecting the client’s commitment to low-impact dining, the space is crafted with natural materials, including flooring made from domestically sourced thinned timber.
