Stage in Izusan 伊豆山のステージ
伊豆山神社の参道脇にある旅館の庭に、音楽が楽しめるウッドデッキをつくる計画。
山の斜面を活かして階段状の客席とステージをつくった。中央で焚火が楽しめるようにリング状になっている。材料は、森林保全団体の熱海キコリーズから調達した熱海の山のヒノキ間伐材を使用した。施主、施工、設計ともにオール伊豆山でつくったプロジェクト。
This project features a timber deck and performance stage integrated into the garden of an inn adjacent to Izusan Shrine.
The design leverages the site’s topography, featuring a ring-shaped plan with terraced seating that surrounds a central fire pit. The primary material is local Hinoki cypress thinnings provided by the forest conservation group Atami Kicollys. Managed as an “All-Izusan” initiative, the project was realized through a localized partnership between the client, contractor, and architect.
