hacosco cafe ハコスコカフェ
脳科学者の藤井直敬氏が率いるハコスコ社のラボ。カフェを併設する。
同社のアイデンティティであるダンボール製VRスコープのハコスコから着想した。巨大な双眼鏡に見立てた空間は、床、壁、天井から、家具、コンセントプレートまですべてをダンボールに見た目がよく似た材料MDFで仕上げた。大きな２つの窓から相模湾を望む。
A laboratory and cafe for Hacosco Inc., led by neuroscientist Naotaka Fujii.
The design is inspired by the company’s signature product, the “Hacosco” cardboard VR viewer. Conceived as a spatial metaphor for giant binoculars, the interior—encompassing floors, walls, ceilings, furniture, and even outlet plates—is finished entirely in MDF to emulate the texture and appearance of cardboard. Two expansive windows offer a panoramic view of Sagami Bay, framing the landscape like the lenses of the device.
